with Bobby Cremins, former Georgia Tech Head Coach; 3 ACC Tournament Championships
When Coach Cremins traded his coaching career for television as an analyst, he kept a keen eye on the game. Traveling across the country watching college basketball alerted Cremins to changes in the game. In this on-court clinic demonstration, he shares his thoughts, observations and ideas on new trends in the game. Cremins has seen the Princeton offense gain popularity in college programs like NC State and West Virginia, as well as a few NBA teams. Cremins attributes this to the benefits that the offense boasts, including great spacing and 3-point opportunities. On the floor he shows how versatile post players can score in the post, elbow and outside the 3-point line. The 3-point play is so impacting that almost every team has several players that can hit the trifecta, and he is impressed with the variety of 3-point plays around the country. He demonstrates a 3-point play that Duke ran with success for JJ Reddick. Cremins cites Georgia Tech's on ball screen and its ball penetration and pick and roll opportunities. He stresses that the on ball screen poses several difficult obstacles for the defense and has become a huge trends over the past few years. The North Carolina box set shuffle action is a favorite of Cremins's. Bench strength is a key to winning basketball according to Cremins. A lack of depth will eventually spell doom in today's competitive, level playing field. He recognizes pressure defense as a key stabilizer in college basketball. Cremins wraps up his presentation by displaying a baseline out of bounds play with several excellent options. This DVD gives you a glimpse of what trends in the game are on display every night during the basketball season. A key trend or two could just be the edge that your team needs for the upcoming season. Stay on top of the game with this excellent DVD!

Jack Bennett: Championship "Gap" Man-to-Man and Sliding Zone Defense
with Jack Bennett, former University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Head Coach, Back-to-Back NCAA D-III NCAA Champions! ('04, '05)
Jack Bennett will run whatever defense is needed to win a basketball game; this philosophy has led his teams to back-to-back NCAA D-III Basketball Championships. In this DVD, Coach Bennett details his man-to-man "gap" defense and his two basic zone defenses. He reveals the four goals of his gap defense and shows how these goals are accomplished. Bennett teaches the proper positioning of players, how to help and recover, how to defense the post, how to double team, and provides drills to help develop this championship caliber defense. Coach Bennett slows the pace of a game with his 1-3-1 zone defense and is able to easily double team the post and cover the perimeter using his 3-2 sliding zone. When the post is doubled and the perimeter is blanketed, you have effectively controlled the offense. Coach Bennett outlines and demonstrates all of the necessities for running these tough zone defenses. These defenses are an absolute necessity for any coach who wants to make a championship run! Included is game footage that highlights how dominant these three defenses can be!

Jack Bennett: Championship Drills for "Sound Basketball"
with Jack Bennett, former University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Head Coach, Back-to-Back NCAA D-III NCAA Champions! ('04, '05)
Playing "Sound Basketball" is a concept so important to Coach Jack Bennett that he has developed his coaching philosophy toward that goal, his team practice drills are based on reinforcing it, and it is his teams' "soundness" with the ball that Bennett can point to as evidence in back-to-back National Championship titles! In three of the most important games of the last two seasons, one semifinal and the two championship games, Bennett's teams had an astounding 49 assists and only 15 turnovers. They had no turnovers in the second half of the 2005 Championship Game due, in large part, to the drills shared on this DVD. These drills will make your team a better passing team - this translates into an effective, more aggressive offense! In this DVD, Coach Bennett shares his philosophy and teaches seven comprehensive possession drills that start out 2-on-0 and build up to 4-on-4, half- and full-court. Bennett also discusses the common errors that players make and offers simple corrections. In addition, extensive game footage highlights the benefits of the drills when "the pressure is on." This video is a great complement to any half- or full-court offensive system because it reinforces Bennett's philosophy: "less turnovers equals more wins!"

Jack Bennett: Championship Zone Motion Offense
with Jack Bennett, former University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Head Coach, Back-to-Back NCAA D-III NCAA Champions! ('04, '05)
Coach Jack Bennett offers an "insider's view" of his highly regarded, and very successful, zone motion offense. This offensive system is brilliant because of the flexibility it allows. It is effective against match-ups, as well as straight zones. If your post players can shoot, it gives them the opportunity to step out and knock down shots. It also makes all of your perimeter players a threat because of the constant movement. In this DVD, Bennett emphasizes player and ball movement as he works with perimeter players employing yo-yo cuts, dribble replacement, flash cuts, and more! Bennett also demonstrates what you need out of your big men to produce easy baskets. He shows how to misdirect the zone, screen the zone, use the dribble, and how to take what the defense gives you. He demonstrates how cutting to the "vacuum" creates scoring opportunities for every offensive player on the court! In addition to demonstrating the offense, Bennett narrates game clips to show you how effective this offense can be. This zone offense needs to be included in every coaches system!

with Billy Donovan, University of Florida Head Coach, '00 NCAA Runner Up; Final Four appearances as Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Player
As a coach, you know how hard it is to find time everyday to develop individual skills and fine-tune your offense. In this excellent DVD, Coach Billy Donovan teaches you how he incorporates player development and individual instruction into the development of his offense. Donovan stresses the importance of combining separate elements of your offense into different drills so that your players will have the comfort level they need during games. Donovan builds the progression running 3-on-0, 3-on-3, and 4-on-0 full-court drills and upon completion of the drill, getting into various phases of their offense. Donovan's unique style of drilling allows players to get used to seeing the offensive progressions under pressure. It is Coach Donovan's philosophy that players have to know what they are looking for in their offense and that the easiest way for them to accomplish this is to break the offense down and continually rehearse it. This video is a perfect tool to teach coaches how to increase the continuity of the offense while focusing on the individual players!
